黃山天下奇，吸引了無數(shù)藝術(shù)家。劉海粟是其中一位，以自己筆墨描繪了黃山的別樣神韻。從1918年第一次跋涉黃山，到1988年第十次登臨，跨度達70年之久，創(chuàng)作了黃山題材的代表性作品。
二十多歲的劉海粟第一次登上黃山就受到了強烈的震撼，他說, “黃山教育我認識了美，我拜黃山是我的老師。”
“一泉一石，一松一壑，不僅觸發(fā)你的詩思，惠你畫稿，提供無限美境，或使你心曠神怡，或使你目瞪口呆，或使你無言對坐，寢食皆廢，終日忘饑。”這是劉海粟深刻的感受。
黃山蓮花峰、天都峰
Lianhua Peak and Tiandu Peak of the Yellow Mountain
Located in the south of Anhui, the Yellow Mountain is renowned for her magnificent beauty, which hasattracted many artists since ancient times, one of whom is the famous painter Liu Haisu.
From 1918 to 1988, Liu Haisu made ten visits, spanning 70 years, and produced many excellent workson the subject of the Yellow Mountain.
Liu Haisu, in his early twenties, was shocked when he first set foot on the Yellow Mountain. "I respecther as my teacher," he said.
黃山始信峰
Shixin Peak of the Yellow Mountain
1988年，93歲的劉海粟十上黃山，下榻在云谷山莊。這是藝術(shù)界的盛事，眾多媒體爭相報道。劉海粟以詩盟誓：“年方九三何嘗老，劫歷三千亦自豪。賈勇絕頂今十上，黃山白發(fā)看爭高。”
“深入黃山，表現(xiàn)黃山，跳出黃山，擁抱黃山，吞吐黃山，心和黃山風(fēng)風(fēng)雨雨一齊跳躍，和奇峰怪石一起創(chuàng)造。”劉海粟把這次登山的感悟?qū)戇M了筆記。
黃山煙云
Clouds in the Yellow Mountain
劉海粟將黃山視為生命之山 , 一生最重要的作品也多以黃山為題材。“昔日黃山是我?guī)?, 今日我是黃山友”，是劉海粟六上黃山之后所寫詩句 , 他也將此刻成一方印。劉海粟在藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作中追求中西技法相互滲透 , 完美表現(xiàn)了激越的浪漫主義情調(diào)。觀其一生 , 筆墨不斷轉(zhuǎn)換 , 速寫、素描、油畫、中國畫、大潑墨、大潑彩貫穿其藝術(shù)人生，晚年的黃山畫達到了崇高、博大、自由的藝術(shù)境界。
黃山平天矸
Pingtian Peak of the Yellow Mountain
劉海粟黃山情緣的表現(xiàn)，還非常獨特地顯現(xiàn)在他的黃山畫作兩上被譽作“國家名片”的郵票上，這兩幅被收入郵票的黃山畫作，便是《黃山云海奇觀》和《黃岳人字瀑》。
《黃山云海奇觀》畫面上，白色云霧在飄移，在蔓延，在翻滾，在作響，遠山、近峰和黃山松在拍天海浪間偶露崢嶸，黃山云海排山倒海般的氣勢和變幻無窮的神秘躍然紙上，是一派“奇山飄忽云霧中”的仙境。能繪出黃山煙云吞吐之神韻，是劉海粟采用他新創(chuàng)的“潑水之法”全新畫法繪制。
2016年，《劉海粟作品選》特種郵票1套3枚。其中，《黃岳人字瀑》充分地展現(xiàn)出他的豪放奇肆、蒼莽勁拔、多彩多姿的畫風(fēng)，卓然自成一家。

In 1988, when 93-year-old Liu Haisu visited the Yellow Mountain for the tenth time, theart world was in full swing and there was a lot of media coverage. Liu wrote about hisfeelings about this visit in his notes: “The Yellow Mountain—embrace her, breathe withher, experience the wind and storm with her, and feel her strange peaks and rocks—onlythrough these can I understand her and create with her.”

Peak in the Shape of the Pinetree
“I learned a lot from the Yellow Mountains in thepast，while I became a intimate friend of her in thepresent day.” This is a poem written by Liu Haisu afterhe went to the Yellow Mountain for the sixth time. Inhis artistic creation, he pursues the mutual penetrationof Chinese and Western techniques, which perfectlydisplays the intense romantic sentiment. His laterpaintings of the Yellow Mountain reached a lofty, broadand free artistic realm.

Heavenly Wonder of the Yellow Mountain
Liu Haisu's paintings of the Yellow Mountain havebeen printed on stamps, one of which is “The Wonderof the Sea of Clouds in the Yellow Mountains”,showing white clouds drifting, spreading, rolling, androaring, while far and near peaks and mountain pinesoccasionally emerge among the waves in the sky.This magnificent charm of the sea of clouds can beconveyed vividly by Liu Haisu’s newly-created paintingtechnique of “splashing water”, which becomes hisown style of painting.
